Whether you’re running and jumping or shooting and passing, these Nike® Men’s Pro Tights keep you performance-ready. The allover compression fit delivers premium support, while Dri-FIT technology pulls moisture away from your skin. Flat seams feel smooth against your skin while reducing distractions and enhancing your focus. Feel supported and covered in these Pro tights.

Style:

These tights are very different from the other two variations I’ve reviewed previously.  These are the Camo version of the Nike Pro 3/4 length tights.  The camo pattern definitely makes these tights a bit more interesting and reduces the focus on certain areas on the tights or you can say less distracting.  The waistband continues to show the NIKE PRO logo across the board, but does remove the patch of fabric of the waistband stitch at the back. The signature Nike logo in white is added to the left leg.

Fit:

I noted in the short tights that they are tighter than the Under Armour tights.  I would say that these Nike Pro’s are not as tight as the shorter tights I’ve reviewed.  They are definitely compressed and less tight.  They are definitely comfortable, but I feel that they are less supportive in the package area than the short tights.  When doing workout in them, there are certain motions that I felt my package was moving around.  The fabric in the groin area is a bit looser.   The pouch area size is similar to the Nike Pro short tights, so you most likely would need to wear these pointing down since there isn’t much room to store your boys looking up.

Construction:

The fabric uses Nike’s Dri-FIT technology which is made up of 90% Polyester and 10% Spandex which is the same material to the Nike Pro short tights. Dri-FIT is designed to keep the sweat away from your body and keep you feeling dry and comfortable.  I am not sure if this pair of tights have different fabric like the short version as the material does look the same.  The stitching and supporting lines are different in these tights.  The top area of the pouch is exactly the same, but there are two stitches to create the contour pouch area for your boys and a stitch down to the leg area to support your muscles in the legs.  The back stitching does not have the U shape stitch to support your butt.  There is just a straight stitch from the waistband down to the perineal area and the waistband like the other Pro tights is just acceptable.  I would say that these are similar to the Under Armour 3/4 tights in thickness and effectiveness.

Our Views:

During writing this review, CoVid-19 isolation has closed all gyms, so we can only workout at home. As like all the tights I’ve reviewed, I enjoy not needing to wear shorts over these when working out.  Just need to figure out can I go back when this is all over 😂.  The good thing is that the Camo pattern does hide your bulge than the solid tights I’ve reviewed previously.  If you are brave enough, you could wear these by themselves and people may not even notice.  These are less tight than the short variations, but enough compression for you to feel that they are there.  As noted before, I noticed that doing some leg exercises, my package did lose some support in certain positions.  I would say that it’s not something that would discourage me from wearing them.

They do not constrain me from doing any activity. As noted before wearing these with your boys pointing down is the best way.  It’s possible that the gusset area allows bigger packages so that guys will feel comfortable when wearing these.  The gusset area starts about an inch under the waistband and there is no mesh at all.  When working out, I did feel a bit of sweat in the package area, but it didn’t make me feel sticky at all.

These compression tights are a mid-level product and there are better tights available on the market. Definitely higher price point tights will work better and possibly give you better support, recovery and muscle encouragement. However you need to debate on value vs effectiveness – I would say these are good, but they could be better.  I did note in the short tights that if they redesign the package area, I would be happier.  They did do them for these tights, but then I feel that they made it too loose in this pair.  We also lost the mesh gusset area for more breathability.  One thing I like is the camo pattern and it does give some style and does hide your bulge a bit.  Trying to wear them over a pair of shorts may be a bit of a challenge.  Wearing them with solid pants may be OK, but another pair of shorts with other patterns may make them look weird.

Verdict:

Will I buy again:  Maybe.  May need to move to the next level of tights and see what other options are out there.
